Here is another clue on that mystery Hardware I bought at swap meet.
Now where did I see this light before? ......................
Let's see a Lite Brite?

But seriously all I can think off that had a short sell life and was made by a large video game company.

3DO M2
Virtual Boy
Commodore Amiga CDTV
Bandia Pippin
N64 DD
Turbo Grafx-16 cd attachment
Neo-Geo AES (I don't remeber if it lighted up)

But only the virtual boy Neo-Geo and turbo grafx cd could I believe you found, maybe the M2.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

Alright some Ideas, thanks!

Okay lets go down your list .................

Lite Brite - This makes a great sign above Video Game Room entrance. Arrange lights into couple 8 bit characters, Space Invaders comes to mind.

3DO M2 - No, Now that was a short lived machine not as short as this one piece of hardware though.
Image

Virtual Boy - No, "Mod_Man_Extreme" beat you by PM to me on this guess. Red light Bug Eyes!
Image

Commodore Amiga CDTV -No, now thats an oldie, All I have is the Amiga joysticks anyone remember those miniature controllers.
Image

Bandia Pippin - No, Okay gotta ask what is this?
Image

N64 DD - No but I would love to get my hands on one of these with F-Zero Track designer.
Image

Turbo Grafx-16 cd attachment - No, but Bomberman on this machine rules!
Image

I am not lying this is an official piece of shortlived hardware.

Look to the green light grasshopper ..................

Capcom CPS Changer
RDI Halcyon
Amiga CD32 (canadian version)

I can't think of anymore that are at least 10 years old, made by a "huge" video game company, had a few months sell life and has a light.

Wow forgot about those!

Newton - No, a pocket bulging PDA
Image

Altair - No, We had a similar computer in school where the screen was a Pin driven printout
on every move. Star trek in glorified asterisks. No pocket protector for me I also took welding
and Autoshop. Now I am showing my age ......................

I find that hard to believe. I'm pretty sure the M2 never saw any kind of commercial release.

I stand corrected, I was thinking the 3DO in general ..............................

Okay since you got me on that one I will hint that it is actually a part of but not the entire unit. Again was not pulled due to Safety or Copyrights. Well actually unrelated part in the Japanese version did have problems.
Okay I'm giving away too much too soon.

Also through searching Mr. Google it was actually on the store shelves more than 3 months but definitely less than 9 months. If I only stocked up on these which at the time were expensive, but a lot more value now!

We are all getting great Video Game Finds to look for ...........

Keep them ideas coming!
