At last Kyle, I will have my revenge. Say goodbye to your Okama Gamesphere saves. You brought this on yourself Kyle. Ha ha ha, HAhahhahahaha!!nightwalker wrote:If somebody did that to me the erasing the memory card thing. I dont care if it was my brother I would really cut of his balls.
Really.....
A few years ago I noticed that I was missing 15 or so Sega Genesis games. I went down to my friends house to see if he might have any. He said that he had never borrowed any, but I insisted we go downstairs and look through old boxes, just to double check. I ended up finding 5-6 games down there, he had honestly just forgotten about them and his mother had cleaned them up many years ago. I was still unable to find Shining Force 1, so I went ahead and took Tactics Ogre as ransom until he finds it (which, unfortunately, he never will).
So sometimes people just completely forget, although it still sucks really bad...so I don't let people borrow anything nowadays.
As far as the memory card getting erased....
One day my brother was playing Xenogears, and the screen was getting kind of fuzzy with static due to static electricity building up on the screen. He went to go wipe off the screen, with the controller still in hand. As luck would have it, the static shock went through his one hand, out the other, down the controller and fried the memory card (I know that sounds made up, but it actually happened).
I was very upset, as was he, and that was an accident. I couldn't imagine how I would react if someone erased the card on purpose...

Borrowing RE4 Wii right now and just borrowed Hot Fuzz from brother-in-law today hehe.
Personal rule of thumb for me, don't loan anything unless you are fully prepared to never get it back and not hold a grudge. And don't borrow anything you couldn't pay for on the spot if you had to, in case something happens.

Let my legs shake me to sleep, and don't wake me when I sweat on my sheets.

i live down the street from my best friend and he has a few of my things and i have a few of his......i dont really care since its nothing that i wouldnt want him to have anyhow. other people dont really ask me for things. well my friend is trying to be a featherweight boxer wanted to borrow a boxing movie. anything but rocky he said. so i gave him play it to the bone to watch. a few days later i called him and he asked if he could have it. i was like yeah. like i said earlier i wouldnt lend anything i wouldnt want a close friend to have. i would not let anyone borrow my lungfish though....someone could seriously lose a finger. o and not my woman. lol.
