Innovations Guncon Pedal
Ok, so I just bought this Guncon pedal for PS1 Time Crisis games. I only have a PS2 right now, and I can't seem to get this thing to work. I can't understand the instructions as they were obviously written by someone who does not natively speak English, and thus make no sense. Does anyone here have any experience with these? Is it possible this will only work on a PSX? It is not too big a deal as I only paid like 4 bucks for it.

When I had Time Crisis for the PS1 I just had a guncon with the cover buttons on the gun itself.

Are you using a Guncon or a Guncon 2?

I almost picked one of these up a few weeks ago. Post some pictures of the pedal, cables and instructions. Maybe then we could figure it out.

I kinda want to get one of these, because even if you have a gun with the buttons on the side for Time Crisis, it feels weird. To remedy this situation, I took a PS2 controller and plugged it in controller port 2, and put it on the floor and press the X button with my big toe. It works loads better than the button on the side of the Guncon.

Technically this thing should plug into port two and is essentially a giant X button.
If it's not working, it's either defective, or you're trying to use a Guncon 2, which isn't compatible with PS1 lightgun games anyway, since it uses the USB port and not the controller port.

Re: Innovations Guncon Pedal
So I am using the Guncon 1 on the original Time Crisis. I was also hoping to use it on Project Titan. Anyway, I have a feeling this may only work with a PS1 and not a PS2. I will have to scan the instructions so everyone can see.
I originally thought this thing would work like a giant X or R1 button, but it wants you to plug the Guncon 1 into the pedal (there is a port on the right side of the thing) and then plug a video RCA plug into the back of the TV (the Playstation video cable piggy backing on it, much like what the Guncon does). Anyway, either this is not compatible with a PS2 or I've set it up wrong or its busted. I am having a family member send me my old PS1 from home so I can test it out. If worst comes to worst, I will probably get a cheap racing pedal for the PS2 that would hopefully also work on TC 2 & 3.
I will get scans of the instructions soon.

Re: Innovations Guncon Pedal
I want to hear more about it. Unfortunatly I have no advise to give so welcome.
So would this work on a ps3?
I have a ps1 joyport to usb converter! so I could plug it in.

Use an arcade stick; it works much better.Betamax001 wrote:I kinda want to get one of these, because even if you have a gun with the buttons on the side for Time Crisis, it feels weird.
