Q*Bert, when you jump on a platform that transports you to the top of the level, then hop off it once you're there.

I'll be honest, I did watch gameplay videos on Youtube to confirm it.

If you watched that one that was split into 3 level chunks, they were playing on an emulator that either sucked or it was a bad dump as none of the 'voices' were there. It didn't play the 'Eeeeerrrrooooooo' noise when Coily fell and if you watched a bit where Q*Bert died, he didn't make his cursing noise. I actually watched an NES and Atari port video, which would use some of the sounds in question, as well as the one you mentioned. When it featured most of the sound from the clip you gave us, I realized what was happening.
