Are there any jazz fans at Racketboy or are you folks into the heavy metal and hipity hop the kids on the streets (of rage) keep on talking about? Jazz is really great. After all 152 Americans can't be wrong...

Great topic!

1. Mezzanine - Massive Attack - I mean, we all say, "This album is amazing" and they all kind of are, but this album is amazing in a way that no other is, so muscular, so dark. Track, "Risingson"

2. I Love You - Amanda Blank - slutty bitchpop that kicks fucking ass. Track, "Might Like you Better"

wont' even name an album here, just a track cuz albums are fucking dead,

you should never say "I listen to weird music." It makes you sound dumb.

Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense (Live)
Ben Folds - Ben Folds Live
Dethklok - Dethalbum II

Weird combination, I know. I've also been really into David Bowie's stuff lately.

BTW, 1000th post! 8)

Yikes I forgot about my elusive collection of Polka albums! Polka, now that's unappreciated! You wouldn't happen to have taken a Polka appreciation class?

Right now I am digging:

Passion Pit - Manners
The Decemberists - Picaresque
Regina Spektor - Far

also kinda liking the new Vampire Weekend. And PS I love me some jazz, Dizzy Gillespie in particular.

Being only 19 years of age I consider myself to be inexperienced to the world of music. That being said, forgive my ignorance, but what on God's blue earth is "slutty bitch pop". I bet wouldn't understand.
