Silent Hill Origins
Prinny Can I Really Be The Hero?
Ultimate Ghost 'N Goblins
And I second Dracula X Chronicles, great value.
And modding the FW is a must.

The benefits of adding custom firmware is that it allows you to 1) use emulators (GBA, NES, SNES, Game Gear, Genesis, TG-16 among others), 2) rip PS1 games and play them on your PSP & 3) play rips of PSP games. I used ChickHen on my son's God Of War PSP. I only did it once so I can't remember which Sony firmwares it is compatible with but from the hardware end it is certainly hackable.

Yeah, while I love my UMDs, playing games I own off the stick is great when playing before bed. The loading of the UMDs is loud and it disturbs my wife when shes trying to sleep. The games load much faster as well on the stick and its quiet.

It's also faster loading off the memory stick than the UMD.

I know the newest PSPs are hard to mod, not sure which one you have (I haven't been keeping up with the PSP scene lately). But it's definitely worth it if you can.

That ChickHen hack is only for the newest PSP, because the original hack wont work with them. I don't know much about it, but I heard you have to keep your PSP in standby or else you'll loose the hack.

The pandora battery is what you need to get the PSP in service mode in order to flash the custom firmware. I don't know if the ChickHen hack uses it (like I said, I don't know much about that hack) but this is what you need to do for the original hack. It's pretty easy, if you use the right (up to date) guide.

I'm 99% sure the GoW PSP is a PSP2000 and it is permanently hackable via the use of a Pandora battery and flashing a custom firmware onto it.

I'm pretty sure there is a thread in the hacks & mods section regarding the best way to go about achieving this. However I'm definitely sure you can find the information by googling for it. I know that PSP-Hacks.com have plenty of guides on how to install CFW on any PSP with any method.

Good luck, modding a PSP is hands down the single best thing you can do for your PSP. Plus you can play almost any PS1 game on your PSP natively.

Also, if nobody has mentioned it yet, Lumines is one of the best puzzle games ever, and it's easily one of the best games on the PSP.
