Genesis version is better. It had an extra level and came out the system first. It's like they made the game with the Genesis in mind. Supposedly, the controls are tighter on the Genesis and the music is better from what I've heard.
The extra level alone should convince you.

what extra level is in the Genny version over the SNES version?
I know the SCD had an extra level, but I never noticed anything with the genny... but then I never played the SNES version all the way through.
---- heh, yeah I just read. The SNES version is missing "intestinal distress". Yeah get the Genny version, if not just for this level. That level is the creepiest freaked out thing in the whole game. I mean come on, the boss alone was freakin' WEIRD! I could never quite figure out what he was spitting out at you... I always thought it was like pancakes or something.
Man, I thought Genny owners got jipped with the lack of the "Bruty" level... but I guess the SNES people got the crappiest end of the 3 sided stick.
