I think Comcast just throttled my bandwidth.

Anyone mind sending me an invite to Cinemageddon? It looks pretty cool. I can invite to IPTorrents in return.

In my experience Cinemageddon invites aren't the easiest things for current users to get. I had an old account but lost it, so after like 6 months of current use I've not got enough points to generate an invitation. Maybe someone else on here's got a couple to spare though.jp1 wrote:Anyone mind sending me an invite to Cinemageddon? It looks pretty cool. I can invite to IPTorrents in return.

how does Cinamageddon stack up with Demonoid or IPtorrents ?
is it worth trying to get on w/ all of them ?
thanks for the pdf

I don't have any invites. Sorry dude, I'd give you one if I could. Is registration not open at the moment?

Does anyone have any experience with Azureus? Is it generally better than uTorrent?

I just checked to see if you could buy invites with credits but you can't even do that. My user class is power user so I am not sure what your user class has to be to get invites.
Re: I think Comcast just throttled my bandwidth.
Cinemageddon seems to be open for registration. I just joined up.
just what I need, more bandwidth sucking torrent sources.
edit...hmm seems like I didn't register after all.
I think they are full up.

Well that sucks. Since I do not have actual friends I'll be sure to come here with the invites when I get them.

Cinemageddon is closed most of the time but there are instances when it's open (holidays are a good time to check). You can click to register at any time, but you need to have a code provided to you by a user. You need to be more than a power user to have a code. VIP users can generate invites, but the rules to get to that aren't so easy. You can use 800 credits to attain that userclass or pay money :\.
Demonoid is much easier to get into and has a wide variety of things from ebooks, to movies, to music and whatever else you might be looking for. IPtorrents is kinda similar I guess but the new guy on the scene. Also relatively easy to get into. Cinemageddon is majorly a film site though it has other things that relate to the films (books, posters, soundtracks) and appeals to fans of obscure/cult/strange/etc videos. It's harder to get into but the items are rarer and, in my opinion, of greater value.
Also, Azures (is that how it's spelled?) is now called Vuze and personally I really hate it. It clutters up with unnecessary things though there is a "classic" option. I just overall have had a bad time with it over the years and stick with uTorrent. However, Vuze has its uses so if it works for you then go with it. Overall it's easier for people very new to the torrenting scene.

I'm on Demonoid, but sounds like I'd like to be on Cinamageddon. also sounds like a pita to get on there too.
