Thought On Starting A Gaming Music Blog?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I think it also depends on the playback engine with GYMs. Still, it is far less developed compared to other sound formats. HES is still my personal, biased favorite.

Yeah I would like to listen to some game music shoutcasts or something GamingFM is dead, 'Nintendo Play Radio' loops the same 50 songs which gets boring after a day or so.

I'm too lazy to download the SPCs and the other formats.

I'd contribute a fair paypal chunk to a good shoutcast server

i thought it was hopefully until the few last replies. its sort of like, "hey boy you wanna see my goods?" "hell yeah!!!!!". and then that hooker walks away. gaming music is awesome. when i think of gaming music for some reason castlevania pops into my head first. but i did recently get myself a sega saturn and a little neat game called Nights. the music in that game is awesomeo. takes me back to a better time. so hopeful and optimistic.

I'd be much more interested in giving some exposure to music from overlooked games. Hell, sometimes even terrible games have great music. Basically, I would avoid Squaresoft, Capcom, Namco, Nintendo, etc music unless it was an absolute failure of a game.
