Well here is one big problem, I dont have alot of the room some of you guys do

yeah- i hear you. I recently moved from one place that was huge into a place that was more than half the size. Most of my gaming stuff is in boxes with only the newer consoles plugged in. It is totally sad.

However- every time i part with something nerdy i always tend to regret it and rebuy it. So... I'm trying to find the space. Or at least loan things out to friends as a last ditch effort to keep it, but not have it.

as a guy who has owned some jag stuff- is it worth it? You get some life from that one, or not?

I think every person is different, some people on here say its a complete waste dont bother so on so on...I had alot of fun with it just for the fact it was different.

I did like it enough, that I will soon have another one, and I am going to work on collecting for it like I was doing the nes. I like it enough that, though I will have just the console...and in great condition, I will STILL buy a second one just to have one complete, and will even drop a chunk on a sealed cd unit in the next few months *tax time woo*

Now...do I think everyone will like it, no...but...it has a few REALLY weird games *I like weird* and some of the best ports...so when I get sick of playing something weird, I would pop in doom. Just depends on the gamer I guess.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

I was looking through those pictures and though "Damn, he has some of the same stuff as me!"

Then I remember that I'd bought it from you!

Lol :D

I'm sorry it's passed on, but I want to say thanks.

I've had a great time with the Sega CD and Shining Force.

Awesome stuff man.

Hey, this is a GREAT thread! Really fun to read through. I might want to post pics of the stuff I sold from Japan once I leave. You've inspired me.
...and met people that are just plain fucking scary...
Oh, any stories to share?

wow, any regrets? It's funny you post this as i was thinking of this very topic last night. If I would have kept all my gaming items i came into possession of in my lifetime, i would have a serious (quantity and value) collection. It hurts so much i almost cried, and still want to. I think of all the rarities i bought and kept in mint condition. Gone. I get the itch to play them often, but alot of the titles are now going for an obscene amount of money. Man am i hurting right now.........

I feel your pain, trust me...it hurts everytime I go thru those pics, there is so much money and so many memories right there that I cant get back lol.

Its also kinda funny to see that some of you guys actually remember where you got stuff from lol.

The weirdest story I have was meeting a guy at walmart at like 1am, he called me wanting one of the ps3s I had sold...he shows up in night pants and me and my girl both though...I cant believe we are meeting some random guy at 1am...he gets out and its like...ok night pants...uhm...wtf is going on? THen...he ends up being one of the biggest gamers I have met in a long time, really cool guy, but scary as hell at first thought to what we were doing lol.

I am working on my collection again, it wont nearly be as big...I dont think so anyway, just for the fact I dont have room and I want to KEEP the main items I am collecting. I love to trade stuff, but at the same time I want to keep the 4 main building blocks of a collection. Last few times I just sold it all due to being sick of losing most of the stuff I regret selling. I am seriously...goto ebay and look up the price on that radiant silvergun guide...last time I did, its a freaking GUIDE that sells for 100-200$...then that complete MINT copy of RS, with the spine AND reg card....*pukes*

You've had a nice collection over the years. I wish I could have bought that NES TV from you, but I never had enough cash to make a fair offer.

The one thing I have say is you have really good taste. I would be kicking myself for selling most of that stuff. I have sold odds and ends out of my collection but never anything that miss that much (I have lost things aka let someone borrow it and it never got returned TMNT IV, Link to the Past, but nothing rare or that valueable).
