That's all that matters anyway.

I love Ang Lee's HULK. I get bashed left and right from my friends in Hollywood for it, but I could watch that movie any given day. There is just something about the inner struggle that hits me.

Well anyway, LOVELY BONES hasn't helped the "tucked in shirt and glasses" look, and I'm sure there will be a hilarious LOVELY BONERS porno out any minute.

Watched to movies about mental health facilities today:

The Devil's Chair. This movie was pretty damn good. Up until the last 15-20 minutes were especially neat. The majority of the movie utilized the idea of having a creepy universe residing right next to a regular universe and a group of characters switching back and forth much better than the Silent Hill movie did. If you just switched out some characters and tweaked the story a bit this movie could have been the Silent Hill movie - now I should say, this movie is not based on the Silent Hill series at all and the story is nothing alike, I just think they pulled off the parallel universe thing much better than the Silent Hill film did and it would have been nice if the development team for the SH film took some ideas.

Then the movie changed quite a bit. Sure it started to a get a little corny at the beginning of the end, but the film itself acknowledges this. As the lead character states in his voice over at the end:

"As you can see it all got a bit silly right here. A girl with her puppies out, a demon, old banana over there in his pajamas. Is this what I promised you? Are we prick teasing you enough? Is this what you came here to see all my brothers? Look at this poorly written, badly acted bullshit! Is there any truth in this b-movie banality? No! No, there is no truth. Believe no one. Believe nothing. You freaks and geeks. You bloodthirsty morons, fuck you! Bring on the red parade. So are there any pulses in the house? You deadbeat, midnight, freak-geek witted torture-porn gore horse! I know what you're looking for, so have it! Take it! and fuck you all very much! Did you ever get the feeling you've been cheated?"

I thought this was hilarious, then the twist ending comes. Yes, I understand it and it may add to the value of the movie for some, but for me I couldn't help being a bit disappointed. Check this film out though, but it is a bit of freak-geek witted torture-porn.

Madhouse: I love Jordan Ladd. I have only seen her in a couple of films and I love her. I think she is beautiful. I don't even mind that she works in a mental institute with unsanitary conditions and a basement full of psychotics and insists on wearing open toe shoes with somewhat of a heal and a shirt that exposes her cute belly and a skirt that shoes off her sexy legs. Now that we got that our of the way, I liked this movie too. Even though I knew at the beginning the end (kind of) I somehow managed to forget because I got wrapped up in the story. Don't get me wrong, the story was no masterpiece, but it was good enough to keep me watching. The lead character will seem badly casted at first, but trust me it works out. Plus, it has Lance Henriksen in it and he always delivers a great performance. This movie ties in insane people, ghosts, the effects of a poor workforce, and the evil medical business pretty nicely. It also stars Jordan Ladd.
