Movie poster frames

So I bought some movies posters. Nosferatu and Bladerunner both 27x40. Michaels wants $150 per frame and AC Moore wants $240. I am not spending anything near that on posters that cost me $8 each. Does anyone know a way to get them cheaper without using those cheap ass bendy frames you get at like Walmart or Target?

Don't know if you have one in your area, but IKEA sells decent one-sheet frames (27X40).

They come in black, white and silver. The black ones looks mighty good. I framed my Hard Day's Night one-sheet with this.

I believe the frame was in the $20-$30 range.

In Michaels were you looking in the custom frames or the prepackaged ones? I know the custom and fancy ones can run that much but I bought a 24x34 frame from them last year for much less than that. It aint the prettiest frame (thin black plastic runners) but it was cheap and I needed it for a buddies art project.

Frames, including decent matting and glass, usually cost more than expensive prints.
Hate to break it to you, but either learn how to frame, or pay for someone to frame it for you.

Yep, I know the cheap flimsy frames you're talking about, they're like <$10. But if you spend about $30 you can get a decent one from michaels.

If you do go to Micheal's, DON'T pay full price. Check their specials, sign up for their newsletter, and look for coupons.

Their framing department sometimes doesn't accept coupons, but they do have sales, usually at 20% off regular price.

IKEA. I've got all my posters in IKEA frames. Most stores in Ireland charge the equivalent of $60 for a 27 x 40 frame. Now we have IKEA, equivalent cost $30. Nice poster choices by the way.
