Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility List

Post by darthmunky »

I haven't thought about playing original Xbox games for a long time but now that I feel like it, I'm just wondering if there is a more up-to-date list besides the official Xbox one as it has not been updated since November 2007 (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwar ... eslist.htm) Are they just not updating that list or is there really no more Xbox originals that work on 360? Cause there are a lot of good ones not on that list that I'd like to play.

Nope thats it. I bought an original Xbox because there was emulation issues with some of the games. Not to mention I REALLY wanted Steel Battalion.

They worked on it for a couple of years to bridge the gap then dropped it. If it's not on that list, it's never going to be. The only exception might be if they start selling a game as part of the Xbox Originals line of downloadable Xbox 1 games. But that service also hasn't been updated that much, probably because it's not getting many sales, probably because they almost all way overpriced.

Yea, it says that those games work on 360, but some of them don't work so well. Morrowind barely runs. Panzer Dragoon Orta works wonderfully though. It's really hit and miss.

Morrowind is horrible on the 360. I started to play it and the frame rate was so choppy during battles/anything that it took the fun out of playing.

Really? That's probably my favorite Xbox game and my original Xbox console is dying.

DOA2 Ultimate runs like a champ. Looks almost as good as DOA4.

Here's the one I usually use. I've even added information to it myself.

It's got more info than the official list, oddly enough.
