Your forgot XBox 360.
I'm surprised DS stuff wasn't on there....
Personally, I think the government has bigger issues out there.
Also, I would prefer them to just crack down on selling pirated games instead of the chips as there are some valid uses for chips. (Homebrew)

Interesting. I read about this yesterday, but it was sorta vague on the details. The AP actually suggests that most of this was done at the urging of Nintendo. On the one hand, I can appreciate a company trying to protect its investments against threats real and imagined. On the other, I'm disgusted by our draconian laws regarding technology and usage. The whole concept that I don't own the device I buy, boggles my brain.
I care, but only insofar as I feel as if America's civil liberties are lagging behind many other pseudo-democratic societies.
Ultimately, no love for lawmakers, no love for the game companies. We should just be fortunate that the Saturn is a Sega product; if it were a Nintendo system, I wouldn't be surprised if Racketboy got raided, as well.
I suspect this is the first of many initiatives. With the VC and its easy way to generate some cash for the company, its only a matter of time before renewed efforts to crack down on ancient Roms begins.

I just got back from my 2 month vacation in china. There you just walk in, tell them to fix your psp and when your dont you can sit there in front of a computer and put games on your memory card for free.
you can just walk in a huge 6 story bootleg shopping place and its all bootlegs for cameras, handi cams, memory cards, nike and anything!
i even saw to cops sitting in their cars in beijing and they were playing psp, and everybody in china downloads their games.
they will mod at the video game store anything even xbox 360 and no worries about cops. they will sell you the backup games also. they even have bootleg genesis and gameboy advance carts.
anyways i went to sega arcade in shanghai if i have time i will upload some videos in the future. nothing like mario cart gp 2 player!! and loads of shmups like battle garegga!!
