Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Hi, I used to be a moderator at DCemu.co.uk a few years ago. I was introduced to racketboy by someone who calls himself "Ack" when I was sleeping at his girlfriends apartment (I'm not trying to be an ass, this actually happened.) I'm hoping to try to follow some of the retro news and write ups and I may even attempt to make my own contributions in the coming months.

Welcome to the forums! Just don't tell us "I came here to gain new knowledge." Inside joke that is likely to spark a 10 page thread. :)

Oh yeah, I still needed to post here. XD

I actually ran into these forums about two years ago because of The GagaMan, I believe, but have now rediscovered it thanks to Nathan Barnatt and was forced to sign up in order to participate with the Charity Auction, where I think I donated enough to keep my karma up through 2010. XD
I'm a big fan of classic videogame and computer hardware, though I'm 22 and never owned much video game consoles as a kid, we had an NES and SNES, then went all-PC and I got back into consoles after buying a GameCube in 2002 or 2003 and since then started collecting a whole bunch.
As soon as I move out on my own, since I live with my dad, I plan on creating a Gaming Room and will find plenty of inspiration in the threads on these forums. And IKEA.

I can't list much of my collection since more than half is still in boxes, sadly.

This post is made completely of win, and I think we all need to hear this story.

Hi am an 18 year old male from North Carolina. I recently got into collecting old video games. Right now I am in school studying to become an electrical engineer. My interest are videogames (old and new), tinkering with electronics, computers, and science fiction. I was introduced to this site by a segment on screwattack.com called "Talking Classics". I think this site is great and am looking forward to participating more.

Talking Classics FTW! You may be pleased to know that the man who plays Keith Apicary, Nathan Barnatt, posts here as well!.

Hi. I'm ReddMcKnight. As you can probably tell by my Signature and Avatar, I'm a Sega Maniac. I love Sega Games, but I also love other types of games too, such as Nintendo, Sony, etc. I am currently trying to get into College to study Computer Programming.
