Who's tougher: Mike Tyson or Super Macho Man?

I beat both, but for some reason I always thought Super Macho Man was tougher. He always tricked me with that single or triple spin punch. I never know exactally which one was coming.

Anyways maybe it was because i used the code to fight Tyson and I faced him many more times that he seemed easier.

Let me know who you thought was hardest, Mike or Macho, and you can add any other character who you thought was harder if you think different otherwise.

Just to add something nothing really to do with this. I remember when i was a kid The boss of Punch out was Sandman. I used to beat him and then you would fight Glass Joe over again, but harder. I think i got up to Bald Bull again but i dont remember for sure, but i never beat it a second time through.

If only Nintendo implemented this Feature in Mike Tysons Punch Out (the fight everybody again feature) it would have only added to the perfection of the game. mabye you can call it the "another world circut" mode, but not really the same.

I always thought Mike was tougher, sure he maybe easier, but if you dodge at the wrong time, you would be kissing the mat, I only knock him down once, I've never beat him

For a time I could beat macho with ease and had a hard time fighting tyson, but after some time, I could hardly beat macho in the "another world circuit" mode, don't know if there's a difference, I can still beat tyson to this day

Can anybody here confirm if there is any difference between difficulty level or timing with Super Macho Man between both world circuts?

God, I loved the Punch out games

I always hated Super Macho Man in both the original Punch Out and the S-NES one. I think it's because he had that one super punch that came out you multiple times so you had to dodge each one. I found Tyson(or Mr. Dream)easier because he'd toss single punches at you. For some reason, I couldn't handle the mutliple swings from Macho Man. It's like I'd dodge the first one or two and then the next one would hit and knock me out.

I'm also embarrassed to say I used to have trouble with the timing on Bald Bull's charge. It was easy for most people, just hit him on the third hop, but I used to mess it up for some reason. I saw a cool vid on youtube though where I think someone finished him off in the S-NES version before he even had a chance to do the bull charge.

Actually, seeing how quickly that player took out his opponents makes me realize that I never really mastered either Punch Out game, I just got decent enough to beat both of them.

I've honestly never been able to get past either. But Mike (or Mr. Dream) made much shorter work of me than Macho Man.

This topic inspired me. I got myself a copy of Super Punch Out. Always wanted to buy it, but never got around to it.

Super Punch out is one of the few SNES games that runs really well on the snes dreamcast emulator.

I feel like playing this now myself.

Mike tyson gave away some of his moves with the winks in his eyes. it either meant a flurry or some other punch i forgot but its supposed to be one of those secrets.
