More expensive? Yes, but considering the PS3 version came out well after the 360 version, and also considering that's less than a dollar of difference, and also considering the 360 was a pack-in 2-for-1 deal along with Oblivion, and also considering the PS3 version has free DLC, and also considering how the market fluctuates, I'd say they're pretty much on par.
Most people don't use wifi. Headsets are pretty important for online play.

Different strokes for different folks. I have to use WiFi - it's a requirement. I never use a headset, and usually disable my ability to hear people with headsets as soon as I get into a game.
I don't see how the PS3 can be considered less expensive than the 360. Not in this country anyway.

So even with a wireless adaptor it's still cheaper. As for no blu-ray, doesn't really matter since you can stream 1080p movies from the Zune marketplace. IF blu-ray really does matter to you then £70 for a standalone blu-ray player seems to make better sense in the long-term. Obviously nobody knows whether or not using Blu-ray videos on the PS3 impacts it's long term durability like DVD did with the PS2. I definitely think it's worth a consideration though.
I think the price difference in the states is much narrower than it is over here. The 360 always has cheaper games. So if you buy say, 10 multi-platform games a year, and the price difference is always at least £5, then you've saved £50, which pays for your 12 month xbox live sub at a cost of £25.99, leaving £25.01, if the same thing happens the year after then you've saved £50, minus the cost of xbox live gold, that leaves you £30 in pocket if you buy a bluray player against the cost of the PS3 2 years ago.
IF the PS3 cost £200 (sub £225 is the tipping point I think) then it's a no brainer. Buy the PS3. However at the present time, given the cost difference over a lot of games, the 360 receiving the vast majority of better quality ports. The inconvenience of the PS3, the long loading, the stupidly long winded system update process, taking up to an hour at a time, even on minor updates, the stupidly long process of game updates of up to 10-30 minutes depending on the game compared to the literal 10 second wait on the 360 on EVERY game, the poor quality of the PSN in the UK. We have well under half of what you guys have, I know, because I have a US PSN account, but I can't buy anything from it, 'cos I'm not a US resident. XBLA having many many more titles than the PSN, plus EVERY game has a trial mode on 360. The PS3 has about 40 demos (i'm being very generous in my estimate here) in total. The 360 has hundreds. The non-removable batteries in the controllers, what happens in a couple of years when the controller's lithium stops retaining charge (this is something that really concerns me, I wish they would do a wired DS3). Given the added bonus of Sky player on the 360 in this country, which essentially gives you a free additional sky multi-room box (which costs £50 for an additional box, plus £10 a month charge for the service) it saves you even more money if you're a Sky subscriber. Given the benefits right now, and the sufficient saving in the long run the 360 is the more informed choice.
PS3 handsdown. I completely agree with what people have said before, PS3>Wii>360. I'll probably never buy a 360 to add to my collection because there's no point in having something you know will break within a couple years.

Even though the PS3 has similar issues and 360s break much less often than they did.
