Neo's reminded me of my new one: Wii games. I don't know why, but somehow, developers seem to think that putting out games that look worse than launch day Gamecube games is okay. I mean, wtf? Why didn't Nintendo make 16x9, 480p, and Dolby ProLogic II mandatory? I understand not doing HiDef, but come on. Most of the games look like shite.

1st of all i hate the video output of the nintendo 64. everything just looked weak and smudged. i know this a computer thing but it really annoys me so i mentioned it.
2nd, i hate static on any rf unit. you have to jiggle it to make it look cleaner all the time. you all know what i mean. if only i knew what that yellow and red jack was really for on my nes when i was a kid.
3rd, my dog keeps warning me that my 1st generation xbox power cord want to light on fire. what? what do you want Scruffs? NO-Im not untying Lauri any time soon leave me alone!!!
4th, i cant figure out why my genesis video cable wont fit my dreamcast. it seems to be different shape or something like that. common sense says, "they are both sega machines, they should fit just like the snes, n64 and gamecube do." i think im gonna call sega and ask them for a refund, those idiots!!!!
5th yes of course i hate that NES blinking annoys me completly.
6th Try staring at the xbox's main menu for 9 hours straight without farting or burping. your life will change forever. if you listen carefully there are mny subliminal messages with the wierd background sound. yes bill gates is my master. my master gates. i will play with master gates.

I know what you mean. But, if you have a GCN, play Rogue Squadron 3. Factor 5 used DivX so the clips from the Star Wars movie look pretty good on my HDTV. They aren't full screen I don't think, but they're still the best looking FMVs I've ever seen in a console game pre-HD era.Perseid wrote:Crappy FMV quality on modern consoles. I mean, OK, if your game is so big that it's filling the DVD that's an excuse but I'm sure that's not the case most of the time so why do some games on the PS2 (and XBox) have video that looks like a PS1?
