Kinn, you're absolutely right. Publishers will not compile anything that they can sell separately for more money.
Which just led me to a thought: There probably won't be many compilations like the excellent ones you guys have all mentioned here coming out in the future, because publishers can just put them on VC, XBLA and PSN and make more money ala carte. Especially since there's no cost in physical packaging. This might be a mini "golden age" of comp discs, though that sounds kind of dumb now that I've typed it .... Either way I'd expect to see less and less of these kinds of discs coming out.
Questions on MM Anniversay: Does it have slowdown like on the NES or not?
Anyone have the Metal Slug Anthology, either for Wii or PS2? Is it any good?
One of the only reasons I've ever considered buying a PSP are the Konami shmups compilations. Those look really cool.
The greatest compilation ever?
I have Metal Slug Anthology for PSP and its fantastic on the small screen. 6 is bit over filtered because of the downscaling.RadarScope1 wrote:Kinn, you're absolutely right. Publishers will not compile anything that they can sell separately for more money.
