i don't know if a thread like this has been started yet or not.
but what gaming stuff is everybody asking for christmas?
i am getting CIB castlevania bloodlines and CIB snatcher. i already have the items, but i can't actually play them until christmas morning. my mom won't let me. i however, did give them each a 30 or so minute test run just to make sure they were in working order. and to be honest i asked for snatcher based on hype alone and i am not too impressed with it based off the short time i played it.

Re: what is everybody asking for christmas
I asked my wife to get me a copy of Dungeons & Desktops since I have been to lazy to order a copy for my self.

My wife is getting me a new laptop. That kind of counts, as you could play games on it. I don't plan to, though.

Nothing, although I'd like some old mac games for my PowerBook.
Also hopefully I'll get a little something special from the girlfriend

My GF is getting me the Harmony cart. I did ask my mom to get me the SNES powerpak. Though I did also ask for a real nice chef's knife, so who knows what I'll get. I am less likely to lose a finger with the powerpak I guess.

My birthday was on the 13th and my wife bought a Blu-ray player and the Star Trek Blu-ray for me! I have no clue what she is getting me for Christmas though...

I'm more excited about the gifts I got for others, and the gifts I know they're getting from others.
Re: what is everybody asking for christmas
The only gaming related thing I asked for is the God of War Collection for PS3. I have only played through half of the first game and I LOVED it. Might as well play them in high def and whatnot.
Other than that I will get clothes, which I could use some more pants pretty badly.

I'd like cash, but I can't ask for that, because my mom says it's rude, even though cash is better than some things I've gotten over the years.
Like last year, one thing was a lame hoodie. It was black and brown (boring), it was a pullover (hate them) and it wasn't from FrightRags, even though I mentioned it at a family gathering.
One year, I got this PSP game which turned out to really suck ass. My mom got it for me and assumed I'd like it simply because it was an RPG. It was "Astonishia Story", FYI.
But what's worse is when I get something I already had.
And almost as bad as wanting something general and not getting it. For the last two years, I wanted some Italian horror films and did I get them? No. I mean, it's like my family can only buy presents at department stores.
And that's why all I want is cash. And why I should have the right to ask only for cash. And that my more esoteric tastes cannot be properly satiated by people who don't know how to buy cult films on DVD.
