You could say this for any exclusive library ever.

I wouldn't pay full price for a Halo or Gear of War title ever again, but I'm always the first in line to drop my cash down for the new Metal Gear or Zelda. It's just as easy to let your personal taste get in the way of what you're willing to pay for a game, without blaming Playstation's games.

Yeah, I should have worded that better. How about this, "I just think that if (fill in the blank with almost any game thats $60) was $30, I'd be more willing to recommend them." I'm not trying to offend fans of the PS3, I think the majority of new games on any system are over priced.

Hey, that's why I was asking for suggestions. It was late and I'd had a long day when I posted and nothing had jumped out at me. Now I'm working through suggestions. :)

Infamous - This looks pretty awesome and might be a winner for me to go pick up. I just hope I don't get mouse envy

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Haven't liked MG games I've tried

Uncharted 1 & 2 - couple of maybes, apparently I glossed over these at 2 am

Demon's Souls - Already an iffy maybe

God of War Collection, Ratchet & Clank, {God of War 3} - They remind me of other games I didn't care much for

Initial D: Extreme Stage, Gran Turismo 5 - Not big on racers

Soldner X - Have the special version for PC

Little Big Planet - people have made cool stuff with it, but it doesn't interest me

Valkyria Chronicles - Looks awesome, but I don't like RTS

Killzone 2, Resistance 1 & 2 - Hate FPS with a controller

Heavy Rain - has been looking pretty interesting, but will have to see when its released

Yakuza 3 - Other games haven't interested me

MAG - FPS and would mean playing with asshats and people who play the game 27 hours a day no thanks two strikes

Will you play online , if so, MGS4 and Uncharted 2 would be good for you to pick up. They are decently long on your first play through (10-16 hrs for MG, and 8-10 for Uncharted 2), but the online will keep you busy. Get the Orange box as well, 5 games for $18.

Crash Commando - forgot about this after seeing that video, added

Fat Princess - info on this hasn't grabbed me

Katamari Forever - I have the first on PS2 but it hasn't grabbed me either. I really want to like it and really like the different idea, but I dunno

The anime presentation draws me in, the tactical kicks me back out into the stratosphere.

I agree with Hobie, it looks awesome, but the strategy part doesn't apeal to me. Hobie should try Dragon Age.

Resistance 2 has a great campaign mode for an FPS and a really extensive XP driven multiplayer online.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is my favorite MGS, you own a PS3, you should own this game...even if you have to skip the cutscenes. Also, no one really mentions this but MetalGearOnline is included free with MGS4, which I love.

Uncharted 1&2 are both a ton of fun and play much like Tomb Raider/Ico meets Gears of War/Resident Evil 5.

Little Big Planet is an enjoyable Mario Bros. rip off with a really cool style, is four players, and has online.
Yeah, so no FPS on console for me, so no Resistance. No MG. Uncharted like Tomb Raider? Dammit, that pushes down the interest. I don't care for platformers or Mario, so yeah, that kills LBP even more than before.

90% of the people playing games online seem to be assholes, play the games 12+ hours a day, or both. I don't even care for playing PC games online unless its with people I know IRL or in some capacity. That being said, I do have you guys and I could probably play with some of you and enjoy myself. :P

I have Orange box for PC. Back to the Mouse/KB for FPS thing, as well as looking a ton better.
