pretty sure the rear feet are still there, but when I got the tv about 12 years ago from my brother-in-law it was near this exact condition, I never broke the feet. sold it to my friend about 5 years ago and got it back 2 years ago, I think all he did was put the stickers on and used it to play xbox. oh well I don't plan on ever selling it, I have about 50 great games and my brother took my standalone NES, so I need this tv to play them. still plays games perfect as long as you put them in right haha

I ran across this forum searching for the value of one of these which I'm looking to sell; it was working a couple of years ago (the last time I plugged it in), and I can verify that it still is if anyone's interested in it.

I just haven't had time to play it since my kids were born, and I'd rather see a fellow retro-gamer make good use of it than watch it collect dust every day; rather than throwing it up on eBay or Craigslist first, I thought I'd give first crack at it to someone here (I'm new to the forum, so if this kind of posting is inappropriate, I apologize).

I don't have pics to post yet, but it's got at least 1 of what I think are the original controllers (I can't remember if there are 2, but I'll look through my retro-gaming boxes this weekend), and the remote. Only damage is that part of at least one of the feet has broken off (was that way when I bought it used in 2001).

Reply if you're interested ...

Cheers!

Welcome, but this should really be in the b/s/t section I suspose. Pics would be awesome. Price wise is anything from 125-400$ depending on condition, if its complete, and so forth so on. Fact that one of the feet are busted off you probly wouldnt get more than 150-200 depending on if a collector came along that was REALLY looking for one.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

The tube may have lost all of it's charge or decided to finally stop working if you just left it in storage for years on end as TV's should be plugged in and used at least once every six months if left in cold storage (Unplugged, IE in a closet, etc...) or turned on once every few weeks if left plugged into a wall socket in an unused room of your home.

Make sure that if when you want to use or test t that you've at least had it plugged in for about 6-8 hours for it to build up a charge again and then turn it on to avoid damage to the tube.

Anyhow, welcome to RacketBoy!

Ditto, the feet can be a major reason for most collectors to decide if they want your set or not as very few are left completely intact.

Thanks for the replies everyone ... I did what was suggested, and plugged it in for 6+ hours before trying it out. It still works, thankfully.

After I posted here, I realized there's a BST, and posted there: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 1&p=194614

For the sake of completeness, though, here are the pictures I took of it ...

... as you can see from the picture of the back, it's an 19SV111.
