I guess it don't matter..
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Like many people in here, I have no doubt, I grew up with video games. At the age of 2 I had an Atari and Odyssey 2 controller in my hand (thanks, older bro's!) and grew up with Sega Master System and NES as a wee'ling. I've been just buying games as a rabid fan over the years and in the past 10 years I'd say I start collecting sporadically. I have a mighty large collection and have seen this site a few times off and on. I decided to finally take the plunge and join some of my fellow hobbyists here. Hope to make some friends and share any insight I can with lots of gaming: Old School, Import, Current, or what have you! I enjoy every genre and have very little fanboy troll hate tolerance, so don't plan on seeing me try to put down other stuff. I equally enjoy all!

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
'ello 'ello. I'm uh, new here.
What to say? I'm not all that unique, I like older video games. I have an NES, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, PS1, PS2, blah blah blah. Point is, I like games! Sadly college life kinda cuts into the time I can put into gaming, but oh well.
I uh, also play music. Bass guitar to be exact. Not amazingly, mind you, but I can still play some.
That's all I got. D:

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
yoyo.
I've been looking at racketboy for a little while now and just got into retro games. I picked up my first Saturn recently and I'm shocked at how awesome it is. I look forward to getting a PAL Dreamcast and a MegaCD. Hook it up if you live in Europe.
I promise I wont troll.
See ya round.

I've got my crown and I've got my scepter.
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
I've been around some days now, so I guess I should introduce myself.
I'm 23; I live in Cyprus (an island in the Mediterranean of ~1m population). I've studied Computer Science at University of Cyprus and become a Java Web programmer at a company here. I've got some talent in drawing and art although I never practiced it. Now, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do in life.
I got into videogames at a young age, through my twin older brothers. I'm not much of a retro-gamer but this site reminds me of the good times of my childhood years, so I like it here. Plus, I've always been thinking of restoring my old Game Boys and SNES from my parents’ house. Maybe get the N64 off my brother too. For the time being I live happily with my bf, a PS2, two PS3s, a Wii, a DS and a PSP.
Apart from games I like anime, manga, movies and I've recently discovered I like graphic novels too (Neil Gaiman's The Sandman anyone?).
On a more personal level, I've been a misfit all my life so please treat me nicely
