Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Well, I went to my local Target and mom n pop bookstore and neither carried the mag -- so I still haven't seen it.
What's on the cover, BTW?
Bioshock 2 is on the cover. The article is called "The Reach of Retro" and was written by Blake Snow and Dave Rudden. I'll quote a bit of the article here.

Simplicity Rules

Talking to retro gaming historians, we got a strong sense of how these series are still able to pull in the original fans. Sure, they add features, but only ones that don't cloud the original visions. "You can really focus on what makes a game interesting when there isn't too much getting in the way," says Nick Reichert, who owns and operates Racketboy, a website dedicated to cataloging the best retro games.

They talk to another guy in the next paragraph, but when I first read it I thought they were still talking to you.

Ah... after searching through my email, I see Blake Snow interviewed me back in July. He's a freelancer (hense missing the connection with GamePro). He just used a very small snippet from the interview.
Makes sense now... but also explains why I forgot.

I picked up the new issue at the grocery store a couple days ago and saw this article but only skimmed it and and missed the RB mention.

I thought about buying it. John Davison, who used to be at 1UP and then founded (then sold) WhatTheyPlay.com is now the editor at GamePro. Although I hardly think of GamePro as worthwhile gaming mag, with Davison at the helm it could get really interesting -- IF they let him run it the way he wants. I already saw some stuff I liked, including this retro article. A print mag is going to have to have more stuff about gaming in general, and fewer previews and reviews. That stuff lives on the Web now.
