Inglourious Basterds:
Classic Tarantino. Fantasy film at its best. It gets better and better with more viewing. Christoph Waltz is an absolute monster. Love the languages on show here. Quentin Tarantino said once that 'he makes movie for planet Earth' holds true here. No Germans speaking English with German accent!!!
"Say Auf Wiedersehen to your nazi balls"
G.I. Joe:
Transformer 2 is the example of a movie which failed with EPIC proportions. While G.I. Joe, though still very bad, was actually quite a good fun.
Taken (Liam Neeson):
Caught it on Blu-ray again. What a great action movie. It rarely stops to let you take a breathe, there's some great set-pieces, clever scenes, and Liam Neeson is really a Father who's very angry. The guy basically carried the whole film. An alternate film title for this would be "Jason Bourne when he got old".
What was the last movie you've seen?

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
So I'm currently watching the Men Of A Certain Age sneak preview on TBS and I have to say I really like it so far.
It may be the old guy or retro gamer inside of me, but I can seem to relate with how the character's lives and roles/jobs are beginning to change as they're beginning to be replaced by the next generation and whatnot.
There's still a half-hour left so I'll post again when it ends to give my final verdict on how it went and if it's really worth it to give the show a watch.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Watched "Funny People" last night. It wasn't your typical Apatow comedy, but it was still an interesting movie. It had its funny parts, and probably went on a bit too long, but I enjoyed watching it.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Scored "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" from the podcast "The Cult of UHF".
Gonna watch it at some point.
Almost got a few other films from the podcast (original "Bucket of Blood" (saw the original) and a couple of old Hercules films) but I decided to wait. Mostly cuz my iPod Touch is starting to run out of room. I'm gonna probably clear out some of my music since its already on my iPod (IDK the generation), which I use for music and movies since it's bigger (30GB vs Touch's 8GB).
If I buy an iPod Touch with a bigger capacity, could I transfer my stuff to the new one?

Well I watched the end of the first episode of Men of A Certain Age and I have to say it was a lot better than I expected. I'll probably end up watching or taping it full time as it had some really great moments.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I watched The Possessed the other day. Beyond one of the ghost designs and a few of the effects, it was a pretty generic film...not terrible, but not great either. Meh, you know, just kinda...ok.

I just saw Robots today. I wasn't really watching it that much, it was just on while I was in the room doing other things, but I paid enough attention to decide it was really pretty lame.
