Typewriter keys look nice and interesting.

Case - standard one, no issues.

Fighterpad handles - make sure you make it integrated and smooth!

Button switches - why not use rubber topped tact switches - far better feel and easier to use?

I have to use the buttons because the typewriter keys are big, they need to be raised above the metal shielding around the Psone screen. and yes, I will bondo the handles on smoothly.

Ripped apart and N64 (gently) the board is MUCH smaller than I expected!
I put the expansion pack in backwards blew a fuse, let it nap for a while then it woke up!, Removed the heatsinks and played starfox for about 10 Min, the chips don't get THAT hot, but warm. I think the risers+ copper should take the heat.

So, I removed the Expansion port, looks like I will need to wire to the outside pins rather than the insides. I didn't know that, Not a problem though, also This portable will have BOTH an expansion pak and a jumper pak, they will be able to switch out like a regular N64 however I will reduce the boards as much as possible and then make a custom top for them, the expansion pak will out a small bump on the back of the case, the jumper pak would be flush with the rest of the case.

You either use a Jumper Pak or an Expansion Pack. Not both. Add the cart slot against the reduced expansion pack and it will not be visible.

Why do you want a Jumper Pak?

No bacteria, if you want to, a custom cased jumper pack would be flush with the case, but if you wanted to use an expansion pack to play other games, you pull it out and plug the other one in. Here, this picture should clear it up.

See, because the exp pack is bigger, I will make a raised custom top that has a bump in it, and when the jumper pack is in, the case is smooth.

I knew what you meant DNT, however if the cart slot is against the trimmed expansion pack you only need the expansion pack. You need to incorporate the cart slot in that manner anyway. I did that on my Multi project so know it works well, and will be on my N64 project when I start in in the next couple of weeks.

Some games glitch up on the Expansion pack - Space Station Silicon Valley is notorious for having difficulty with it.

Oh, I see what you mean, From what i can tell, the jumper pack is the only one that will fit in my case, hence why I came up with this idea, the cartridge is JUST barely going to fit,
