MrPopo wrote:I gotta agree with you Luke, where the platform differences aren't very apparent. If a game is multi-platform and you can easily determine which platform it is (because of a noticably reduced color palette or resolution) then I don't see an issue with a multi-platform game.
And you Mr.Popo, articulated my teeny-tiny suggestion better than I did.

This is a bad example since it is now on the Virtual Console, but let's say just Bonk's Adventure was only on the NES and TG-16. I think a "name the game and system" question would work perfectly. But if you showed a single frame of NHL 94, I could think of almost ten games that it could be.

Anyway, not trying to frustrate you. If you don't like those questions, then skip them. But join us in the others. :D
See, I loved that question. My initial thought was Blades of Steel, but then also thought of Mystical Ninja on SNES.

No worries, I'm more of a viewer than a participant at this point. I won't say that if I knew when the questions were going to be posted I would win either. LW would still beat me to the answers.

I see what you mean, but you'd have to pretty much discount any sports game that's a series since they usually look so similiar between consoles and even from year to year. Though for the Bonk example, we wouldn't ask for the VC one. It would still be the NES or TG/PCE version anyway since its a ROM from those systems.

Anyway, point taken. Game on!
