Cheap or otherwise interesting PAL PS2 games

Post by jfrost »

I have some friends who are living in Spain (Sevilla) for a while and I wanted them to buy me some games in Europe, since my PS2 is region-free and I will save a lot of shipping money.

So, could you guys point out to me some good games that are cheap in Europe or even some PAL exclusives I should look into buying?

Also, could you guys indicate some places to buy said games? (Online is preferred, since I won't ask them to travel around Europe to buy games - even though they're going to travel quite a bit, at least to England, France, Germany... -, although I couldn't find a lot of interesting stuff in Amazon.fr or Ebay.es.)

I don't know where to buy it, but the PAL regions got Gregory Horror Show. It's a survival horror published by Capcom. Here's the Wikipedia entry:

I wish it came out in the states, I really do.

It also came in a cardboard box with art cards (If you can find one).

So did Shadow of the Collosus.

Thanks for the recommendations. But any online stores that are worth it?

I know it's a bit unlikely to happen, but I would want to find prices of PAL PS2 games. Is there any place I could find something like that?

Websites: Shopto.net, Play.com, Gameplay.co.uk, Thehut.com, Zavvi.co.uk, CDWOW.com are generally the best/cheapest. I've bought from all of these websites and had no problems. Shopto.net is easily the best out of all of them, and is the cheapest most of the time. Plus they deliver within 24 hours Monday to Saturday. I've never bought a game from there that hasn't come the day after. I've even bought a game at 7pm and it was still sat on my mat at 12pm the day after (we have a lazy postman, although it might the fact that our bungalow is situated at the top of a huge hill...). I'm not sure about those companies shipping to outside the UK though. You could always check if they do anyway.

Here in AU PAL PS2 games are usually 15 bucks each second hand but generally 30-40 for the popular titles and Gregory Horror Show tends to sell for a bit i got my copy from my Ex Girlfriend for Valentines Day last year, cost her 40.
