My brother got a PS3 recently and since I was in the middle of Modern Warfare 2, I popped it in his console, along with my save file on a thumbdrive, to show him a couple of levels of the campaign mode. While playing, I earned a specific trophy and after we were done playing, I made sure to save my game, then went to trophies and hit 'sync with server'.
Later, I come back home and put the game in my system, copy over the new save data and boom, there I go. However, now the trophy I earned is missing. And it doesn't even show up on the PS website.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

did you log on with the same psn account on both systems? also did you connect to the internet to synch trophies again in your home console?

I'd just give up on it. I've tried transferring trophies to and from my 2 PS3 consoles, Both signed in with the same account, transferred the exact same saves and everything. When you sync with the server it either syncs all your trophies or it doesn't. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do about it. PSN just doesn't work the same seamless way that xbox live does.
Having to get all my trophies back on uncharted is not very fun...

Thanks for the replies, fellas.
I was signed in as myself on both consoles, I'm sure of that. And I've tried syncing trophies on both consoles...It just doesn't happen.
The real bitch is that now that I'm playing with the other console's saved data, the game won't even let me earn trophies anymore. I can play campaign levels that I've yet to beat, and beat them, only to have the trophy list say it still needs to be unlocked.
I think I'm going to have to start this game over...Arrrg, whatta boner.

Yup, exact same problem happened with me. I had most of the trophies on Uncharted and was working through crushing, lost all that progress because I went from my 40GB to my 60GB. There is no fix but to re-earn your trophies.
PSN trophies are an absolute joke. I feel like I can't be bothered to collect them in case my PS3 dies, all that progress lost for good. Cheers Sony... How can one company do so many things wrong with a system? More importantly, why the fuck hasn't this been fixed?
