wanted taiko replacement drumsticks ideas

recently got the taiko drum and game for ps2
but no sticks
an ideas that wont screw up the drum?

Maybe Rock Band drumsticks or regular drum sticks from a regular drum kit.

Aren't Rock Band drum sticks just actual drum sticks?
Either way, I can't see why the wooden sticks would mess up the drum. I'd think the wood would be even better than the plastic, because it would absorb the shock better.
Although there is absolutely no scientific or drumming knowledge behind what I just said.

If you want something plastic, why not try looking at some toys at a thrift store? You might find some plastic mallets or godknowswhat that would be usable.

Try getting the rubber replacement sticks they sell for Rock Band. I don't believe rubber would hurt the drum at all, and they do give it some bounce.

Of course, I'm an idiot (I'm terribly overworked). The wood would beat up the plastic. You can get plastic tipped drum sticks at any music shop, or just buy the rock band brand ones.

im thinking about shopping the dollar tree
for something cheap and plastic
or just use it like a bongo
