I have played mgs 1 2 and 3 on ps2 and just don't like games it's just like watching a b movie with a bit of creeping around in between.Any one else feel the same and do not like games?or am i wrong?

I've played and beaten MGS and played the demo to MGS2 (came with ZOE1). I liked them when I was younger, but now they bore the hell out of me. I might give them another chance, though. For my (rare) stealth fix, Splinter Cell fits the bill better than MGS.

I like to hide or sneak attack in mgs2. One epic gameplay mechanic was that towards beginning of the game it was like playing Time crisis. I remember accidentally exploding c4 and the ps2 controller would rumble. Come on who dislikes MGS? snake battles against a giant robots. Halo online series sucks to doom, your dead in 20 seconds. You will never see the real master chief face. I'm pretty sure I know why you didn't like MGS button layout, which is fairly easy after a few tries.

I sat through 20 minutes of cutscene with the demo that came with ZOE. Then I spent 5 minutes with the controls bugging the crap out of me. Never bothered to try MG again. I did try Splinter Cell too, didn't like the controls on it either. But the dumb thing is I like sneaking around. I did it for the most part in Far Cry and its what I'm doing in Stalker now that the Stalker Complete 2009 mod fixed so much stuff and I actually want to play it.

I like B movies. Make it interactive and it's even better. So yes you're right, that's exactly what MGS is. But that's what's great about it too.

What'd you play it on? I played it on the PC and thought the controls were fine (except for the Mouse wheel controlling your run speed, what the hell).

I liked sneaking around in those games, too. It's pretty bad that the games that have the best stealth are the ones that aren't "stealth games".
