What Are The Most Overpriced Games?
It's definitely attributed more to quality than rarity.marurun wrote:Panzer Dragoon Saga used to be, a probably still is, overpriced. I know only a few were made, but there are definitely enough copies for all the true fans. I think the price is so high because it's a good game, not so much because it's impossible to find.

There are quite a few more common Saturn games that I see around that are really overpriced. The most notorious would have to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 ($30-$40 US) and Quake ($45-$50 US); granted they are probably some of the best ports of the games, neither of them should go for more than 15 or 20 dollars. I'm glad someone brought up SF Collection, too, I have no idea as to why this got so pricy but I'm guessing it was because up until SF Alpha Anthology came out it was the only console port of Alpha 2 Gold available.
Oh, and I have one more game to add here: Marvel vs. Capcom 2, it's understandable with the DC port, but the PS2 and Xbox ports go for the same price, usually more than the preferred Dreamcast game.

Whell, that's kinda what we are going for here....Mozgus wrote:It's definitely attributed more to quality than rarity.marurun wrote:Panzer Dragoon Saga used to be, a probably still is, overpriced. NiGHTS was one of the best selling games on Saturn, with a 3D controller it commands a heafty price on ebay. Upwards of $60. Lucky me I got a set still in the box for only $30.

NiGHTS has gone up at least by two or three fold over the last couple of years.
It used to be dirt cheap.
When I was compiling my cheapest game list, I thought it would be the easy winner.
But it's well over $10 now...
