Silver members can get in on the fun for a few days!

Looks like we've got some free Xbox Live Weekends on the horizon as Major Nelson explains that Silver members need to get a look at the new Xbox Live features. During these free weekends, Silver members will get a chance to enjoy online multiplayer, Twitter, Last.FM, 1 vs. 100, Halo Waypoint, Facebook, Netflix, and Sky Player.

For all Xbox LIVE regions except those in Europe, Xbox LIVE Silver members will have free access from Nov. 20 - Nov. 23.

For All European Xbox LIVE regions, Xbox LIVE Silver member will have free access from Nov. 25 - Nov. 30.

Wow - you need a gold account to access Netflix and all those free web services? I still fail to see the appeal in paying a monthly fee to MS to access stuff (including multiplayer) that can be accessed for free elsewhere.

Granted, 1 vs. 100 is fun, though...

I got sick of 1 vs 100 real quick. I do not mind paying for xbox live though, it is pretty cheap and it is a good service.
