Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Sorry to hear that.

On ebay, or any other site, you really need to cover your own ass. It really is buyer and seller beware.

I've always had great transactions here, but I always request delivery confirmation #'s.

Hope everything works out for you in the end.

I'm wondering if I end up loosing and he/she sends me some f'ed ipod if they will send the receipt back. Perhaps I could use the warranty. Ofcourse the serial numbers will not match so I am guessing not. Maybe I sould get my bank involved then all I will be out is the 30-40 bucks that was still in paypal?

If you got your iPod from the Apple store then the serial is tied to the credit card that you paid for it on. When I got my Macbook Pro the serial number was scanned and it and showed up on the receipt. If you got it from somewhere else then I can't help ya i'm afraid.

Good luck.

Yeah, there are people out there that ruin it for everyone else. Selling cheap items you probably are fine, however these days, selling more expensive items on ebay is a minefield if the buyer is "not entirely honest".

I think I am going to go to my bank with it and explain to them. Maybe they will not allow paypal to pull money from my account and then I will only be out the 30-40 that was in my paypal. Then I will just have to put an end to using ebay and paypal I guess. I should send a box full of dog shit to this dudes address.

Now that sounds like a great idea! If it were me though, I'd make damn sure it was my own shit after a hearty meal of deepfried goodness. Give the package a personal touch if you know what I mean.
