Help me remember an Xbox game?

Hey everyone -

I'm trying to remember a game that I had for the original Xbox.. I really liked it and want to play it again, but for the life of me I can't find it on review sites or anything. I've completely forgotten the name. Here are the details I remember:

It was a driving/shooting game.. it had different levels separated by live action cut scenes.. fairly cheesy dialog, and the actors were Japanese I believe. I think Microsoft released it in Japan then translated it and brought it over.

Anyway - in the levels you were constantly being chased and you could shoot car tires out or bits of the environment, and at the end of the level there would usually be a boss of some type. Then you would get a score at the end, and you could unlock bigger, better guns, etc.

It was really fun and I want to play it again - anyone know the game I'm talking about?

I haven't played the game, but perhaps Wreckless: Yakuza Mission?

Ahhh! After searching all day yesterday, I finally found it. It is called "Maximum Chase."

Despite the middling reviews, it actually is a pretty fun game!

I was thinking Wreckless as well.....although if I remember correctly guns were only added to the ps2/gc port. The xbox version was just driving.

If you are into Wreckless, I'd recommend Maximum Chase. And its only 1.99 at Gamestop!
