I watched someone play this today while I was working at GameStop and I was transfixed. I couldn't even do my job - the whole time I was behind the counter, I was like "Oh, don't jump there!", "Careful!", "Jump now!" and crap. I just had to back away and forget about.

When I do get a Wii again, I'll be getting this with it. However, a good friend of mine said it's too short to warrant buying the Wii for - however, considering people have already started hacking custom stages for it, it may well end up being like another LittleBigPlanet.

I may be the only one here who likes it better playing solo. We got our copy tonight and I played most of the first world solo and then my wife joined in... and all hell broke loose. She kept killing me or getting in my way - it made it harder to play. I'm guessing after a couple more worlds we may have our act together, but after only about an hours worth of play I like the solo game better.
Don't get me wrong I am loving some NSMBW and highly recommend it.

Nope. My last post in this thread....
Ziggy587 wrote:I was playing it on 2 player for the first time last night. It's a lot of fun, but makes the game harder. The other player can easily kill you when you're both trying to do timed jumps. I found it was easier to pick up the second player for those precision jumps so you don't end up run into one another.
Do spoiler tags work on this forum? I've never seen them here before. Let's test it out...

You could do the poorman's way of hiding spoilers.

That doesnt work when you pick a different theme though ;)

Glad to here that the game is good in single player mode as well. I'd written this off as I rarely get to play people in real life and when we do we are normally too drunk to coordinate ourselves well enough to do any good at a platformer.

So do you guys feel like it has any of that "Chinese Mario knock-off feeling" to it? I felt like that the DS game. It's obviously Mario but something just didn't feel quite right about it.

Not really, the only thing that really bugged me about the DS was that the difficulty wasn't there. Now that it is, the only thing I really miss is the vertical space that 3 and world had, but it's still damned good.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Has anyone used the coins to unlock the movies at Peach's house?
I have almost all three coins from each level and have not spent any yet... is it worth it?
