Gyromancer was just released today and while the title of this game makes me want to sing serenades to a lamb spit, I am curious to see how this game turns out. Pop Cap is the wealthy king of casual games and Square-Enix is the dottering old emperor of RPGs. It's potentially a match made in heaven, but the design of the game looks so lazy, I'm not sure it will pan out. It seems that both of them grew weary of the Puzzle Quest series ripping ideas from their respective genre domains, so they have teamed up to blatantly rip off Puzzle Quest. Nevertheless, I do love me some Puzzle Quest and I want to know if they can beat Puzzle Quest at its own game.
I'm tempted to just buy the thing because it's only $15, but there is a demo, so I'll play that first if I can get it to work.
Pop Cap, Square Enix, and Greek food?

Re: Pop Cap, Square Enix, and Greek food?
It would seem that the puzzles are based on Bejeweled Twist, which doesn't make it a precise ripoff of Puzzle Quest, but, for all intents and purposes otherwise, it probably is.
