i'm working my way towards a free wii/ds lite.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

i think they did, and pepsi just came out with a new flavor here in japan - "ice cucumber". i've yet to try it though
oh, i used to save up a crapload of kool-aid points as a kid. i have no idea what happened to them though! the last thing i recall was getting ready to get a gameboy... i think either the points "expired" or it got lost in the mail... don't remember :?

three things:

1) i don't think it'll be that hard to get, it will just be hard to be PATIENT. i'm looking at, realistically, six months of trash digging and entering in countless filthy bottle caps. the new nights game better be pretty damn good.

2) i really want to try ice cucumber melon pepsi. i heard about that a while ago. so grittykitty if you do try it, let me know how it is and if i should try to import it because that sounds awesome to me. i've always been about pepsi's experimentation with flavors over coke's same old recipe over and over. i loved crystal pepsi.

3) in response to lordofduct's last post, the old pepsi promotion that was mentioned had a commercial where they listed off a bunch of things that this kid had and showed the point value at the bottom (pepsi backpack: 100 pts, pepsi cd player: 250 points, etc). the last thing they showed was a friggin jet landing in this kid's driveway and it said something like "pepsi jet: 1,000,000 points." well some kid somewhere collected a million points and wanted his jet, since there was no this is not a real prize disclaimer in the commercial. i think he got some type of cash settlement though.

ohhhhhh... it wasn't a real prize. Ok, well then that makes sense. Heh, and that's why disclaimers are needed.

Lol, reminds me of that one pepsi contest where the kid had enough points for the plane but they denied giving to him. Hilarious, well...not for the kid of course. mebe it was Coca cola. I'm sure someone around here should know. :P
On what grounds? That is messed up, offer a prize and not hand it out.
I think it was cuz they never expected anyone to actually get that far and be able to win it. He sued the company of course. Ooh...If only I could find the article...

Oh, lol, nvm then. That's why. But ya, he got a cash settlement after suing the company.
