A retail tipster sends word that Walmart will be selling an Xbox 360 Arcade with a $100 gift card for $199 this Saturday.
Just a heads up for you guys. Might be worth checking out.

I just might have to swing by Walmart on the weekend. Though if this is true I'm sure its going to be a madhouse.

That might just be enough to get me to go to WalMart. But then I'd have to go back and spend the other $100 on the gift card. If only there were a way to use the gift card to buy the 360 and the gift card. But that might rupture the space time continuum or something.

Doesn't WalMart have a crazy good return policy? I'm fairly certain that you can return things within 30 days for a full refund in a normal case, though I would assume that this sale would probably change things. It'd be worth a try though, buy a 360, get the gift card, return the 360, use the giftcard to buy another 360? Who knows, maybe you could do it several times and actually end up getting more money than you spent!

Of course this all could be highly illegal, I'm no lawyer, so I have no idea.

I'd assume that (like Best Buy) you'd only get credit for the difference in the cost of the item and the gift card issued. In this case, $99. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Yeah that's what I figured, though it was a fun dream while it lasted!
