Any great neo geo game is an exception to the rule...great titles costing 300-1000$ when mint and complete.
As far as emulation and burning...thats just...wrong. Its all up to you on what you want to spend...I wont even get into the prices I have spent on games...but I will say I spent over 350+ on ONE game...due to wanting it, it being complete and nice....and TO ME, being the greatest game of all time.

Dracula X, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Radiant Silvergun were all worth the price I paid. Damn stellar titles.
But I agree, most "holy grails" are overly priced and not as good as one would hope. The 3 I mentioned are probably the only I'd consider as such... and in that are the only holy grails I really purchased.

I'd say Metal Gear 2 on MSX is worth the high price too.

That cracked me up.lost_within wrote:...I wont even get into the prices I have spent on games...but I will say I spent over 350+ on ONE game...
For me, my holy grails are the games I've had since I was a kid, and have kept them in great condition. Box art, for me, was a good selling point, and NES games has some memorable cover art.
