Best Arcade (Neogeo/CPS1/CPS2/MAME) Multiplayer Games

I'm starting to do this party night once a week at the college using their projectors, and I also just recently moved in with 4(!) other people, so I'm in a good position to play some good 3-4 multiplayer games.

I don't care about genre or whatever. I just want everyone's opinion as to what are really good games for Arcade games that I can emulate on my Xbox.

D&D Shadow of Mysteria - 4 player RPG Brawler
Xmen - 6 player Brawler
88 games - its two player but its a hoot
Sunset Riders - 4 player cowboy platformer - theres also a Ninja version its name is eluding me for now

I know more, but Ive got work in the morning.

Vendetta (4 Player)

Battletoads (3 Player)

Windjammer (2 Player)

NBA Jam (4 Player)

Simpsons (4 Player)

Track & Field (4 player)

High Impact Football (3 Player) [its like a 2D version of Blitz]

Smash TV (2 Player)

League Bowling (4 Player, but need to take turns)

The Combatribes (3 Player) [something about smashing a clowns head into the pavement puts a smile in my face]

Baseball Stars 2 (2 player, but its fun!)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (4 Player)

Super Street Fighter II Turbo (2 player, but who cares! its Street Fighter!!! lol)

Neo Geo doesnt really have any four player games as for two player simultaneous play:
Metal Slugs 1-5 and X
Samurai Shodown II
Last Blade 1&2
Waku Waku 7

Arcade 4 player games:
Arabian Fight

Knights of the Round - ok its 3 player

Xmen - 4player, the 6 player is a dual monitor setup you will have a better picture with the 4 player version.

There are more, but I cant think of them right now, and the 4 player filter in mame32 is trash. Sadly most of them are going to be brawlers and sports titles.

I went to the movies on Saturday and they had a 6 player X-Men cab. Haven't seen one since 95. I'm so going to find 6 people to play it with!!!

A friend of mine has been passing on them for the past two years when he comes across them. Ive got a place all ready for it when the next one comes through. Even if it means losing R2.

Can't really emulate them, but those side-by-side Daytona USA (and other racer) cabinets are great.

Wouldn't it be sweet if you could emulate them by networking PCs?

If you get the pc version of Virtual On - its on the underdogs. And either mod it yourself or get the patch, also on hotu, you can play it head to head. Now a version of Daytona on the PC sounds like a challenge to find.
