Anybody Watch The Heroes Season Finale?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Anybody Watch The Heroes Season Finale?

Post by racketboy »

** potential spoiler alert **

Am I the only one that was a bit underwhelmed?
Maybe it's because I expect a show like that to have movie-like epic-ness, but I guess maybe they didn't have the budget (?)

I was expecting much more from the Peter/Sylar showdown. Especially after the letdown from a month or so ago.

Yeah, I agree with all you just said. I was let down by the non-epicness of it all. Barely any power use or anything. It was pretty lame. The only thing I'm excited about is the prospect of episodes, as it ends with Hiro.

What the hell is that show anyway? X-Men for the clinically dull?

It's rather X-Men-like, but on most occasions it is pretty good.

It's like X men without hokey costumes. Finale was not the best episode they have made but it was alright, certainly better than anything that was on.

I don't know if any of you read Valiant Comics back in the mid 90's but they were pretty good and remind me alot of Heroes in the sense that you have these mutants all over the planet discovering these hidden abilities. They were called Harbingers and could do some pretty wicked stuff.

To your point tho I also must agree the finale was totally underwhelming, although the story continues to be good overall. I was just looking forward to more fireworks. But I guess they're saving the best for next season. :?

Recently watched the final episode and was also dissapointed by the ending of this season.

Personal fav character has got to be Hiro!

This hasnt even begun airing here in the UK!

Anybody watched the Chapter 2 finale? I didn't like this chapter much at first, but it caught on and the finale was much better than I had anticipated it to be. Hiro buried Adam alive? Wow cool. He can't die, so this is the ultimate punishment for him. And Sylar FTW!

Yup -- Hiro is the man :)
The show still isn't quite living up to its potential, but it's doing ok.
Looking forward to Volume 3.

I watched it.

Hiro putting Adam in a grave is probably the only way to slow him down since he is a true immortal. Everybody in the company who thinks shooting him in the head would stop him would be in for a shock if they did since Hiro blew him to pieces 400 earlier and we have seen Clair get melted with radiation so there is probably no way to kill ether of them.

Dr. Mohinder is a royal screw-up. He was going to protect the girl(forget name) from one of the most powerful heros when he doesn't have any powers himself. Why he didn't contact Matt to beat him down mentally is beyond stupid.

I want to know who put the hit on Nathan. Bob probably is behind it, but is he stupid enough to make himself and his company the biggest target of a group that contains Peter, Matt and possibly Hiro. Thats 2 or 3 of the top 5 heros power wise.
