I've recently read on the internet that Microsoft are considering releasing a new Xbox - the Xbox 720... Can anyone help me and offer any more info? Thank youuu :)

Well, of course they'll release a new Xbox. Its just a matter of when. I hope they fix the problems with the current one before releasing a new piece of crap. I have a 360, but have had to send it back 4 times. I will not be buying any new console Microsoft releases after my current nightmare owning a 360. You shouldn't have to pray it works everytime you turn it on, thats pathetic.

What the fuck is the problem with everyone wanting a new console when it hasn't even been four years for the 360 or three years since the Wii & PS3 came out?

Quit being an idiot, believing everything you read online and just enjoy your current gen console until the next generation of machines are officially announced by their respective companies.

In this state of economy it would be unwise to rush new hardware to the market. And while Crysis does look fantastic it's not that giant a leap from the DirectX9-level hardware found in both consoles. The simple fact Crytek GmbH is optimising the Crysis engine to run on 360/PS3 is quite telling. It's only Nvidia and AMD who are consistently GPU crazy when there's really no solid software support yet for the newfangled DirectX 11 architecture, let alone DirectX 10 which has been around for yonks.

And I hope they pick a more original name this time. 720? Loop twice and return to your same position? Or maybe they should make it 720p, since this generation couldn't guarantee us that many vertical pixels!
