I never liked The Simpson's

I'm sorry. That said, the past ten season have been forgettable. The first 9 however, are incredible. I haven't found Family Guy funny since the second season. All the humor in that show is very Epic Movie-esque.

Not saying that Jessica Rabbit isn't hot (I should know, I met her as a kid) but someone wanting to see a cartoon character nude is creepy.

Personally, I don't see any issues with it. But then again my collection of hentai takes up several gigs at this point.

I actually think the first two seasons are pretty forgettable as well. Season 3 is where the show really took off, in my opinion.

Were season 2 and 3 in the same DVD package? If so, I liked some of season 3. Like Robot Chicken, I just don't think the show is well written, or funny.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear there. I was referring to "The Simpsons." I don't think the first two seasons are all that great. Season three is where it really caught its stride, in my opinion.

I think Family Guy is OK, and I like how they're willing to do some very different things, but overall I've never been terribly impressed with the show.

Totally agree. Seasons 3-8 are my favorite, by leaps and bounds.

It's just using your imagination to fill in the blanks. I'm not sure how jerking off to your favorite video game or cartoon character is any different from jerking off to Anna Kournikova or Asia Carrera. You ever going to have a shot at either? No. It's all just fantasy.

Plus, in many ways, the cartoon characters people are attracted to have character traits that remind them of people that they knew. In this way, fictional characters are even more human than pornography actresses - do you ever get a chance to know the people in "Cover to Cover" or "Weapons of Ass Destruction 3"? No - they're just doing the worm, maybe saying a few cheesy lines of dialog.

As for the Simpsons, I think I own the first 4-5 seasons on DVD. That's all I want. Even if all the seasons up to season 8 were great, the latest episodes have really made me sick and tired of it. At this point, it just need to die.

Agreed, fantasy is fantasy. As long as one understands it's fantasy it really ain't all that bad. And if they don't understand it's fantasy... well cartoon characters are probably safer as there isn't someone to stalk or kill!
