Best way to reapair labels?

What is the best way to repair NES and SNES lables? Like ones that are starting to peel and stuff?

If there just starting to peel I just use a bit of clear tape, only thing you can do really.

If you want to go the bigger route you can open the cart using a gamebit, take out the pcb, put both sides of plastic in warm soapy water. That will get you the label off, then you need to print off a new one (after you have found it or another image you want to use) onto the best sticky paper you can afford, or using a good glue.

That thread has a little method of getting labels back onto carts, he's done it for repro's so he had to clear the original cart label and replace it with the label for the new game. I believe he used sticky tape to make the labels glossy. In the pics it looks really good so you could try that route.

The label is just peeling at the corner. It doesn't seem like tape would work that well. It seems like it would be really noticable. What kind of glue world work the best?

Also is there anywhere to find labels to print?

What I meant was that you could print out a new label, remove the old one and then replace the label following Ziggy's method. It looks pretty passable in the pictures he showed. I have no idea of a better method unless you find somewhere that will do high quality glossy stickers that are copyright material.

I've got a NES game I haven't experimented with the best way to stick down a peeling edge. Though a light dab of plain old white (school) glue would probably work. Put a drop on a piece of scrap paper, get a thin film on your finger, then swipe the bottom and stick it down and hold for a moment. If you want to go the extra mile, use acid free glue.

As long as you're printing at the same DPI that something was scanned, you don't really care. That first SoM image I sent was 600 or 300 DPI, so if printed the same DPI, it should be the right size unless the printer is terrible and scales.

Use an Acid-Free photo safe Elmer's glue stick you can get at any store and you'll have it fixed right up.

Crude? Yes; Effective? Definitely.
