You've posted overseas before what methods are available?

Thank you for all of your input. It looks like I will get a brand new 60gb unit.
As far as getting a Japanese system that has RROD'd, there is no way I can tell.
Used game shops would not disclose that kind of info, and people rarely, if ever, sell privately.

As long as you keep them ventilated you shouldn't have any problems.

I assume used shops would not buy RROD consoles anyway, I saw on another thread you posted the alot of shops split consoles down (sel power and AV leads separate) Is that the case with 360? As I would only need a console. How much would shipping to the UK be?hashiriya1 wrote:Thank you for all of your input. It looks like I will get a brand new 60gb unit.

Why not just get an Elite? They're $50 more with twice the hard drive space and a nice black finish! Also, all the new Elite's come with the Jasper chipset. Whereas, most of the 360 Pro units utilize the Falcon boardhashiriya1 wrote:Thank you for all of your input. It looks like I will get a brand new 60gb unit.

I would get an arcade unit with a seperate HD. It will cost you the same and the system will be solid white instead of having the stupid chrom e on it. Plus, your seperate HD will come with a free 3 month live card and headset, I think.
