The buttons feel very nice and crisp to the touch as well. It feels like they actually got it right this time.
Where have you held one?!

I want it, but I also want to own my games so it's a no go for me.
I actually held it today. My friends dad is the store manager for one of the Sony Style stores here in Denver and brought one home as it was my friends b-day.

http://gear.ign.com/articles/102/1028741p1.html IGN gave it rather poor reviews saying the gamepad is pretty cramp inducing among other issues. Seems kinda small for my sausage fingers. I have about 20 UMDs, so there is no reason for me to pick one up anyways. I really think Sony is going to eat it on this one. Its not like the PSP has the momentum of the DS and to release a $250.00 portable gaming system that has less features than the tried and true versions of the original PSP is spellig failure to me. I like Sony, but I think this DL only crap sucks and I hope it fails.

Yeah. I feel its much better built than any other PSP that's been put out. Feels rock solid.

Build quality aside it's gotta be a cramping and badly designed unit from an ergonomics standpoint and the look of it.

It's not as bad as you would think. It has little grip bads on the back and it's pretty damn light so it just sits right in your hands. I have pretty big hands and it didn't bother me, the only thing i noticed that had me skeptical was the analog nub is now a little smaller, you get used to it quickly though, just feels different.

I'll definitely check it out when it launches, but I can definitely say I won't be getting one.

Yeah I don't know what makes this thing worth the $250, $50 less than their PS3 console that includes a Blu-Ray Player. I just don't know what Sony is thinking.

Sony thinks KA-CHING!!!

But it'll probably end up in the same failed realm of theirs as UMD and Mini Disc.
