I'd also like to chime in that I disliked Viewtiful Joe 2. Never played the first one but I just thought some of the use of the fx power-ups for some of the minor puzzle elements made little to no sense in the first few levels. I usually like beat-em-ups but even the beat-em-up action I felt was not fun.

I think that the Halo series is by far the most overrated. They had crap endings, short campaign, and repetitive gameplay. The only decent thing about the games was the online multiplayer.

Mine would be Grand theft Auto not counting 1 and 2 because they don't seem as overrated as the others in the series.

Metal Gear Solid. Fantastic experience playing it for the first time but no replay value in my opinion. If you skip all the cut-scenes and concentrate on the gameplay only then it looses about 90% of its appeal and reveals itself to be a very mediocre game.

Yeah, but the story is the best part of the MGS series
