Sega never persecuted the previous hundreds of (mostly crappy) Sonic fangames. I don't think Project Needlemouse will ever be completed either, just like S2HD and Sonic 4. Community members tend to be egoistic about everything.

I hope after this they revive a few old franchises im dying for a new Burning Rangers in HD

Though i do like the joke needle mouse made me chuckle a bit the other day.

Theres also the issue of if they make other playable characters i just want to play as Sonic and Knuckles all there ever should be.

The sound track will be interesting to hear however will it be rock or like modernised genesis music the music in the rush series was crap.
