In Search of an "Underground Gamer" invite, Anybody?

Post by El_Duke »

Im trying to see if I can make an account in "Underground Gamer" but It's always at its limit. I heard it you are invite then its a ticket in. To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of my favorite gaming system (the Dreamcast of course) I wanted to read some issues of the Officially Dreamcast magazine which I used own and love and I heard that UG has PDF episodes. Can anybody through me a bone?

Well, first off there's a thread dedicated to Underground Gamer invites, and as a general rule we'd like you to stick around a bit. Some folks join the forums just to ask for invites, and the typical response is simply to delete their posts and inform them of what's up.

However, since you're interested in magazines, you might try RetroMags.com's forums. They may have what you're looking for. In the meantime, please stick around.

I actually really enjoy this website :D . It's hard to find a good retro gaming community and I might have just found it. I stumbled upon this website looking for the Official Dreamcast Magazine PDFs when I googled it and hence its my first post but I believe this will not be my final transmission into the threads.

I looked at "Retromags" but they seem to have this bogus "issues before December 1999 only" rule meaning that only Issue one and two will ever be available! :(

On to next place...

Ah, that sucks. I didn't know they had that rule. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I wouldn't be shocked to see that change to December 2000 next year. I know UG does something similar with what is allowed on their site.

Yeah, its a 10 year rule. So wait a few months for another 12 magazines to become available. In the meantime, if you still want that underground gamer invite, send me a PM. I have plenty of those left.

yeah i believe i have a few also. i have some bitgamer invites too. if you want one you have to write me a haiku explaining why you feel you deserve it. it cannot contain the words "I", "you," or "dreamcast."

try that. just try.

Thanks for the offer on the invites buds but I already had one sent to me yesterday.

While there are alot of kick ass retro issues on Retromags i'll keep searching around for the other ODM issues elsewhere and if in three months I still come up dry then I will admit defeat.

Hey chief, I just heard about a new website that might have some stuff you're interested in:

http://www.outofprintarchive.com/

They started with a thing about the Dreamcast, so while it's not necessarily what you want, I figure it would be up your alley.
